Born from a parent's need to keep every caregiver in the loop
KinderCare Logbook started when our founder, a working parent juggling care between daycare, grandparents, and a pediatrician, realized there was no simple way to keep everyone aligned on a child's health.
The problem we set out to solve
It started with a missed medication dose. Our founder's toddler had been prescribed an antibiotic, but a mix-up during a caregiver handoff meant a dose was skipped. The pediatrician was frustrated. The grandparents felt guilty. And the parents were left wondering: why isn't there a better way?
Sticky notes, group chats, and spreadsheets weren't cutting it. Families needed a purpose-built tool that could track everything from daily symptoms to immunization records, and share it seamlessly with every caregiver involved.
That's why we built KinderCare Logbook: a single, secure platform where every detail of a child's health journey lives, accessible to every caregiver who needs it.
